Minemet (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned, family run business, dedicated to growth and environmentally-friendly solutions. 

We are South Africa's only local producer of sodium molybdate. We use innovative technology that has been developed locally in South Africa. 

We specialise in the recycling of spent oil refinery catalysts. Over the past 10 years we have successfully recycled thousands of tons of spent catalyst, preventing the waste material from being sent to landfill. 

We supply our products into the South African agricultural markets, glass and pigment industries, and water treatment facilities. Our product range includes Molybdenum, Cobalt and Nickel salts.
